To all my readers. With the new school year, my teaching schedule, my writing schedule and deadlines, and heightened familial responsibilities has come the need to take a blogging break. I’ve only taken two breaks in the past 12 years, with neither running more than a month. This time, I need more time as I transition one project and revise another. In the meantime, there are 1,000 posts here to read, plus my published mainstream and academic articles, plus my interviews. I may be back for a post if the lethal world in which we live dictates that I should comment, but otherwise, I do not expect to be regularly blogging again until November.
